Privacy notice
How Softlite handles your personal data and the rights you have over it.

Informational translation. This is an English translation of Softlite's privacy notice, which is issued in Spanish and drafted under Mexican data protection law (Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties, «LFPDPPP»). It is provided for convenience only. In the event of any discrepancy or dispute over interpretation, the Spanish version is the binding one.
Scope. Softlite (operated by SOFTLITE LLC) provides services to companies and professionals in Mexico, where it maintains its operations. It runs two complementary domains: softlite.mx (corporate and marketing site) and robot.softlite.mx (client platform: purchasing, management and support). During the transition period, robot.softlite.biz operates as an alternate URL redirecting to robot.softlite.mx. This notice applies to both domains.
1. Identity and address of the data controller
SOFTLITE LLC, a limited liability company incorporated under the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, with address at 30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA, represented by Nat Smith, is the controller (responsable) of the processing of your personal data. Softlite operates and provides its services in Mexico.

2. Personal data we collect
2.1 Identification and contact data
- Full name or company name.
- Email address.
- Phone or WhatsApp number.
- Address (for invoicing purposes).
2.2 Tax data (when an invoice is requested)
- Tax ID (RFC).
- Legal company name.
- Tax address.
- Tax regime.
2.3 Access and account data
- Username and password (stored in encrypted form).
- Connection IP address.
- Session identifiers.
2.4 Payment data
Credit or debit card details are not stored by Softlite. Payments are processed by certified providers (Stripe, Mercado Pago or others) in accordance with PCI-DSS standards. Softlite only receives confirmation of the transaction result.
2.5 Service usage data
- Domain(s) configured in the service.
- Email accounts created.
- Storage usage volume.
- Technical activity logs required to operate and secure the service.
2.6 Sensitive data
Softlite does not collect sensitive personal data (health, biometric, ideology, religion, sexual orientation or any other data requiring additional express consent under the LFPDPPP).
3. Purposes of processing
3.1 Primary purposes (necessary to provide the service)
- Creating and administering the customer's account on the platform.
- Activating and managing the contracted services.
- Issuing electronic invoices (CFDI) when the customer requests them.
- Processing payments and tracking outstanding balances.
- Sending operational service notices (activation, renewal, suspension, technical changes).
- Technical support and handling customer requests.
- Compliance with the controller's tax and legal obligations.
3.2 Secondary purposes (not necessary for the service, subject to consent)
- Sending commercial communications about new services, promotions or updates.
- Conducting satisfaction surveys.
- Aggregated, anonymous statistical analysis of service usage.
If you do not want your data processed for the secondary purposes, you may say so at any time by writing to privacidad@softlite.mx, without affecting the provision of the service.
4. Transfers of personal data
Softlite may share personal data with the following third parties, exclusively for the purposes described in this notice:

Softlite does not sell, rent or trade personal data for purposes unrelated to providing the service. Transfers to international providers (Hetzner, Stripe) are made with adequate protection safeguards under applicable data protection law.
5. ARCO rights
You have the right to:
- Access: know what personal data we hold about you and how it is processed.
- Rectification: request the correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Cancellation (erasure): request deletion of your data when it is no longer necessary, subject to applicable legal exceptions.
- Limitation: request that we limit the use or disclosure of your personal data, so that it is processed only for strictly necessary purposes or where a legal mandate so requires.
- Objection: object to processing for secondary purposes, where there is legitimate cause, or where your data is subject to automated processing intended to evaluate personal aspects without human intervention in a way that significantly affects your interests, rights or freedoms.
5.1 How to exercise your ARCO rights
Send your written request to privacidad@softlite.mx with the subject line "Ejercicio de derechos ARCO", including:
- Full name of the data subject.
- Email address registered on the account.
- A clear description of the right you wish to exercise.
- Documentation proving your identity.
We will respond within 20 business days of receiving the complete request. Where applicable, changes will be implemented within 15 business days of that response.
The processing of your data is governed by the Mexican Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP) and other applicable Mexican regulations.
6. Withdrawal of consent
You may withdraw at any time your consent to processing for secondary purposes (commercial communications, surveys, analytics), without affecting the provision of the service, by request to privacidad@softlite.mx or through the unsubscribe link included in commercial emails.
Withdrawing consent for primary purposes (necessary to provide the service) may mean we can no longer continue providing the service.
So that you can limit the use and disclosure of your personal information, you may send your request to privacidad@softlite.mx stating which data the request covers and the reason for it. We will reply within the time limits set by applicable law.
Softlite also keeps an exclusion list you can register on so that your data is not used for advertising or direct marketing purposes. To be added, write to privacidad@softlite.mx with the subject line "Listado de exclusión".
7. Use of cookies and tracking technologies
The Softlite platform may use cookies and similar technologies on its domains (softlite.mx and robot.softlite.mx) to keep the authenticated user's session, remember browsing preferences, perform aggregated and anonymous statistical analysis, and measure the effectiveness of landing page campaigns.
Personal data we may obtain through these tracking technologies includes: the user's preferred language; the region the user is in; browser type and operating system; date and time the session started and ended; pages visited; searches performed; and advertising viewed. This data is used to improve the user experience and, in aggregated and anonymous form, for statistical analysis and to improve our service offering.
You can configure your browser to reject cookies, although this may affect the functionality of the client platform.
8. Data security
We implement technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against loss, alteration, unauthorized access or disclosure, including:
- Password encryption.
- Communications over HTTPS/SSL.
- Restricted staff access to personal data.
- Active security monitoring of servers.
In the event of a security breach affecting personal data, we will notify the affected customer within 72 hours of becoming aware of the incident.
9. Data of minors
Our services are aimed at people over 18 years of age or at companies. We do not knowingly collect or process personal data of minors. If a parent or guardian discovers that a minor provided data without authorization, they should contact privacidad@softlite.mx for immediate deletion.
10. Changes to this privacy notice
Softlite may update this notice at any time. Changes will be notified by email to the address registered on the account and published on this page at least 10 calendar days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated notice.
11. Competent authority
If you believe your rights have been violated, you may turn to the data protection authority of your country. In Mexico, that is the Secretaría de Anticorrupción y Buen Gobierno (SABG): website gob.mx/buengobierno.
